I have been using Linux now for approximately 4 years.  Over the years, I have tried virtually every major distribution and have
finally settled on Debian.  Debian offered the stability and robustness I was looking for in an operating system.  However,
installing a Debian desktop is not new-user friendly.  Many variants have been introduced over time such as Ubuntu, Mepis,
Knoppix, Progeny, Libranet, and others; although these distributions have their strengths, I found that a majority were
incompatible with Debian's repositories and the ones that were, cost money.  This project is not about creating an additional
distribution, rather, a CD that will help newer users with installing a Debian proper system along with common plugins (DVD,
Flash, Java, and Mplayer).  The CD includes options to install from CD or net and to install either Gnome or KDE desktops.
Please download a copy and give it a try!
